Would you like to straighten your teeth without the pointy wires, bulky brackets, and unsightly rubber bands used in traditional braces? SureSmile clear aligners from Song Dental are the solution.
1. Invisible when worn
SureSmile aligners are made from thin, durable plastic and fit perfectly over your teeth, making them nearly invisible when worn.
2. No dietary restrictions
Want to snack on chips? Chew gum? Drink a seltzer? No problem. Just pop out your aligners and enjoy. There are no dietary restrictions with SureSmile!
3. Continue your favorite activities
You can also remove your SureSmile aligners to participate in sports, play musical instruments like woodwinds or brasses, or for any other activity.
4. Enjoy comfortable treatment
Since they're thin, custom-fitted, and made of plastic, SureSmile aligners are very comfortable. And there are no pointy, poky metal components to irritate your tongue, cheeks, or lips.
5. Easier Care
You can take your aligners out to brush and floss, which makes smile maintenance a lot easier while you’re straightening your teeth with SureSmile.
1. Get A Free Consultation From Dr. Song
First, you’ll need to come to Song Dental for your free SureSmile consultation. Dr. Song will assess the position of your teeth and your oral development and determine if you’re a good candidate.
2. We’ll Create Your Customized SureSmile Plan
If you’re approved for treatment, Dr. Song will use a 3D imaging tool to scan your smile. Then, he’ll work closely with SureSmile to develop your treatment plan.
3. Get Your First Set Of Aligners In A Couple Weeks
Once SureSmile has created and sent over your first few sets of aligners, you’ll come to Song Dental to pick them up. Dr. Song will give you instructions on how to wear them and then send you home to begin your treatment.
You’ll need to wear your aligners for 20-22 hours per day. You should remove them only to eat and drink, brush and floss, and participate in certain activities like playing sports or musical instruments.
4. Continue Your Treatment Plan
In most cases, you’ll switch to a new set of aligners every two weeks. Each set shifts your teeth by around 0.1mm, though this varies.
You’ll also need to come back to our office every 4-6 weeks to get a checkup from Dr. Song. He’ll make sure your teeth are moving properly, then give you a few more sets of SureSmile trays to take home as you continue your treatment.
5. See Your Radical Smile Transformation
Once SureSmile has shifted all of your teeth into the proper positions, you’re all done! For most patients, it will take 12-18 months to complete treatment.
After you’re done with SureSmile, you will also need to get a retainer from Dr. Song. You’ll wear this at night to make sure your teeth stay nice and straight for years to come.
FEEL MORE CONFIDENT
Feeling self-conscious about crooked teeth can affect your self-confidence and personal life in lots of ways. With SureSmile, you can feel better about yourself and show off your straight smile whenever you speak, smile, laugh, or eat around others.
SIMPLER ORAL HYGIENE
A straight smile is easy to clean since there are fewer small gaps and crevices where food, bacteria, and plaque can build up. This leads to a lower risk of cavities and gum disease, too.
REDUCED WEAR & TEAR
If your teeth are crooked and don’t fit together properly, they may get worn down prematurely as you bite and chew. Straightening your teeth with SureSmile eliminates this issue and reduces wear and tear on your pearly whites.
